The apartment is 10-15 minutes walk from Plaza de Callao and Puerta del Sol (central Madrid) and with five metro stops very close (Noviciado, San Bernardo, Plaza de España, Bilbao and Tribunal, see location). Although if you like to walk you do not need to buy Metro tickets. You can walk everywhere.
