***** THE NEIGHBORHOOD *****

The neighborhood is a one-stop-shop location. There is a convenience store, wet and dry public market, grocery, numbers of sari-sari stores, bakeries, eatery and ready-to-eat products. Schools, churches of different religions, hospitals, clinics, pharmacies and internet cafés are just walking away from home. Going to our small village, along the road are CCTV's monitored 24/7 by a nearby barangay office. Our home is off the main road, thus quiet most of the time, but walkable to public transport to malls, etc. Leaving the neighborhood via jeepney, you will find main petrol stations, car wash, banks, McDonald's, groceries (Shopwise and Savemore) and SM Southmall.

Just a heads up, for the first impression, the neighborhood might seem sketchy because you'll be passing along the public market, schools (wherein peak times, people are busy and everywhere) and few homes of economically-challenged people but I guarantee you 100% safe and the warmth of people are authentic. My reviews can vouch for everything. If you aren't ready to embrace the other side of real Filipino culture, our listing may not be for you.

***** GETTING AROUND *****

You need to walk or take a pedicab (5php) to go to the main road -- Marcos Alvarez. The northbound of Marcos Alvarez will take you to SM Southmall (9php) and Alabang (9 to 10php). The southbound will take you to the city of Cavite (11php) where you can have 1 hour travel time to Manila by van (50php). Jeepneys are always available 24/7. Buses and vans are available from Alabang-Zapote road and Cavite. Grab is also reliable and convenient. Just pin our location "et voila!". Our bicycle is available as well if you wish to go around the neighborhood by yourself but at your own risk. The airport is 13km or 35-45 mins drive. Alabang is 7.7km. Manila is 27km. BGC is 15.1km. Makati is 16km. Evia Lifestyle Center is 4.4km. SM Mall of Asia is 13.5km. Tagaytay is 57km or 1.5hrs drive.

Guest access
The entire home except the garage part.

Other things to note
The idea of listing our place was inspired from the overwhelming reactions we received from local and foreign relatives and friends. We had guests who became friends from United Kingdom, Poland, Hungary, Austria and Croatia to name a few. We just really love to extend our hands when there is someone in need of place to stay -- from giving information about around our area and nearby places, arranging and booking tours, planning and executing well-thought quick getaways, cooking sumptuous meals up to dropping off our dear friends and relatives to the airport. Everything can be experienced in our home!

"To those who are hesitating choosing a place in this area, Jayson's house is the foremost choice you would make. It is indeed home away from home! What you gonna live is delicate room with exquisite decoration and basic amenities! He got a great family! all of them are incredibly nice. His mom cooked for me, showed me around, went shopping together, watched the Christian show and at the last day his papa sent me to the bus station in case I got lost. They treated me like a real family and did it for free. I just left and I felt I am already missing them. They will absolutely make your trip more unforgettable. Most importantly, you have to have a try about his mom's cooking, it's Unbelievable! The chicken with the potatoes is the best dish I have ever had in my life! Love his family! ☺☺"

"Had an amazing stay at this place! Jason really goes over and above to give you the best Philippine experience. He took us on tours on his own time, to show us about his city with his friend Divine. They where happy to take pictures of us both and share information about the sights we seen. He also used his own time to save our pictures onto memory stick for us so we would not lose these memories. We really could not recommend this place any more. You will be entertained through-out. The whole family is lovely, very generous and helpful. We are sad to leave and cannot wait to come back here to stay."

"If anyone ever deserves to be SuperHost, then Jayson it is! Not only is his place a delightful eye-candy as the pictures, his keen organization skills and outstanding ability to host, made this my best Airbnb stay ever in the Philippines. His family made me feel so welcome, like I'm a real blood-kin. Normally, I'm the type of person who likes to stay in my room, but they were so much a delight to be with, that I often found myself joining them to mingle. So much smiles and so much genuine warmth, it's so hard to leave. My only regret is not having found their place months ago, so that i could have spent all those months staying with them. The whole house was squeaky clean; the shower always had good water flow; the neighborhood full of nice friendly peaceful people; food, groceries and other essentials were all just a few minutes walk away. The upstairs terrace was real breezy, so serene, it was perfect for me whenever I needed to do my writing. As for the room, it's really set up ever so thoughtfully, making it so convenient for a traveler like myself. The ergonomic setting included a full-length mirror, creatively built-in on the sliding door; a functional shelf-rack that filled my variable needs; and a huge five-layer chest drawer that allowed me to conveniently partition my stuff. I'm beyond satisfied that I've had plenty of storage space. As comfy as the bed was already , they upped the ante all the more by providing me with high-thread count luxury-grade bed linens. I totally highly recommend Jayson's place, as I myself am sure I'd be returning here next time around!"

“Singaporean customers are amongst the world's most demanding and I’m no different. If I was able to stay for a week, I see no reason why others couldn’t. It’s a perfect hideaway from the hustle and bustle city. Most importantly, the Host - Jayson, and his family are warm. They made me feel at home throughout the stay, for example, they invited me to join them for dinner. I will definitely stay at this place again.”

It depends, I am fairly good at reading people to see if they want to be left alone or not. Also, sometimes I need to be alone or have something to do and won't be interacting with guests, but I will always do my best to be accommodating and helpful.
