The tree lined avenue is well away from the noise and bustle of central Brighton but close enough if you want to walk the 1.5 miles into town. There are frequent buses in Ditching Road and London Road rail station just a few minutes’ walk away. The house has recently undergone complete refurbishment with new kitchen and bathrooms and newly decorated living space. to make your stay comfortable. Paul and Barbara are lovely and hospitable – they made us feel so welcome, and couldn’t do more to help us. Their house is lovely, they were very flexible about check in and out times, and even gave us a lift to Lewes when there were no trains. Breakfast of coffee, cereal and croissants were a lovely touch, and we enjoyed our conversations during our brief stay with them.

Always such a breeze staying with Barbara & Paul. The type of exemplary hosts who have made AirBnB accommodation so popular. Upgraded to the en-suite bedroom for our stay this time. Lovely big comfortable bed, plenty of space and great shower. We'll be back next time we are staying in Brighton.

A very pleasant easygoing couple. Kind & generous. The bedroom/en-suite is beautiful. Parking is available on the road for a small charge from them.

With this being our first air bnb stay we didn't know what to expect! We were very happily surprised with the whole visit and reservation! Prior to booking, Barbara was more than happy to allow us to start our stay earlier than normal check in time to accommodate our need for it to be earlier due to attending a wedding. Enroute to Brighton, unfortunately we were stuck in a lot of traffic causing us to be very late to the accommodation but Barbara was easily contactable throughout our journey to let her know. Once we finally arrived, both Barbara and pet French bulldog greeted us at the door and showed us to our room. Wow!!! What a huge room with ensuite bathroom, giant soft bed and quiet location! The next day after a lovely peaceful sleep, we were greeted by Paul to a wide variety for breakfast, and further cuddles with the very friendly frenchie!!! All in all, a great experience, absolute bargain value, and would definitely stay again if in the area!!

We are a middle aged (ahem!) couple. I work full time as a Health Visitor here in Brighton ( after many years as a midwife in London) Paul is an engineer, on commercial boilers. We love to travel and have been to Zimbabwe, Zambia, Argentina, South Africa, USA, Chile, Thailand and through most of Europe. Paul has travelled extensively in his early years as a marine Engineer including all over South America, Australia and New Zealand, Iran , Iraq and the Lebanon. . Our next planned trip is to go whale watching in The Azores. We have three grown up daughters and three wonderful grandsons living close by. We love the cinema, cooking, seeing comedy shows and walking our two year old French Bulldog, Arlo.
