So, we didn't actually get to stay at the cabin, as the area was evacuated due to fire. However, Scott worked with us on cancelling beforehand, when we decided the smoke and possibility of evacuation wasn't ideal for a trip. He was extremely accessible and gracious and we'd recommend him as a host anytime.

Scotts cabin is spacious and comfortable, with high vaulted ceilings, a quiet place surrounded by nature. The cabin was cool every day when we came back from the park in spite of the hot weather (above 30C)! We feel lucky to have found the log cabin in the woods and can't wait to come back.

Beautiful log cabin, exactly as described. Location is very very quiet and not too much around to do or see but perfect if you're looking for some peace and quiet. Scott was fantastic at replying quickly and answered all questions without hesitation. Wifi was fast, it would have been good if the TV was satellite but never mind.. it made us talk to each other! Kitchen was big and spacious with lots of condiments for us to use and bed was super comfy too. Lovely stay overall.

The cabin made a perfect base to explore Waterton National Park. The park is an easy 20 minute drive. One of the things we loved about the cabin is that there are no other houses or cabins within view. We have rented a lot of houses through Airbnb and (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) and this cabin had one of the best stocked kitchens that we've rented. The dishes, appliances, silverware and cookware were high quality. It made it fun to cook. We loved sitting outside on both the front porch and back deck. It was so peaceful. The bed was comfortable. Everything about the cabin was perfect. It's rustic but it has every comfort to make for a wonderful stay.

Scott's cabin is wonderful. This is the second time I've stayed and will definitely be coming back. It is close enough to Waterton Park to easily spend the day at the park but still be away from it all at the cabin. The cabin is very well equipped with everything you could imagine needing in the kitchen.

Cabin exceeded all of my expectations, especially regarding cleanliness and proximity to waterton. Guide provided at house. Scott was available to answer all questions via txt. Thanks!

We had a really great time at the cabin in the woods. The accommodations were great, and the views of the Rockies from the property were gorgeous. A mother moose and her two calves visited us in the yard for about an hour on our last morning there, which was a wonderful cap to a lovely 4 days. The cabin had everything we needed, and Scott was super quick in responding to the couple of questions we had. We would highly recommend the cabin for families. Waterton Lakes National Park is just a short drive away, and you get back from day trips in time to enjoy a quiet evening in the woods.

Try everything in life TWICE !! If you didn't like it the first time, it may have just been bad timing or circumstances. After the 2nd time you'll know if you like it or not.
