We believe in providing you with a stay that will rival that of most Hotels. Our casita is a separate building from the main house with its own private entrance, bathroom, and AC/Heater. You will have this space ALL to yourself which gives new meaning the the word "shared". We provide many amenities, with many more to be added in the coming months. We appreciate great reviews (see for yourself), but we have looked to the feedback and criticisms to improve your stay as our guests.

The space

Space is private, sleeps 2 comfortably on the Queen size bed, has microwave, coffee maker, desk, Roku Tv, closet and its own bathroom with shower. We will provide you with a Continental style breakfast with foods that you can prepare in a microwave such as Oatmeal, Fruit, and hot beverages (coffee, tea, hot cocoa). If you have any food preferences, let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Guest access

Your entrance is completely separate and private. The Main house contains full kitchen and Laundry facilities, these are the only "shared" amenities. If your stay requires access to the these facilities (Kitchen/Laundry) please let us know in your booking message so we can make plans for your stay. We are pretty easy going and are happy to accommodate almost any request. Advanced notice is preferable, but don't be shy if you remembered needing something last minute.

Interaction with guests

We are always available if you need something or have questions whether by phone, text, message through the AirBnB app, or by simply knocking on our front door. We can accommodate late check in times and very early check out times in case your flight gets delayed or you have an early business meeting.

Other things to note

Street sweepers come the first and third Wednesdays between 8am and 2pm. We permit parking in our driveway during these times to avoid being ticketed.

Bonnie was wonderful and accommodated my late arrival and was there to greet me when I checked in. She was very responsive and always got back to me very quickly whenever I texted her. The Casita is in a beautiful and very safe neighborhood. It was perfect for me as a single female traveler. I was in town for a conference in Riverside, which was about a 20-30 minute drive away. I stayed in town for a few extra days to hike and camp in Joshua Tree National Park, which was about 2 hours away. I loved having the coffeemaker in the Casita as it saved me from spending money buying coffee every morning! There’s also a microwave and Bonnie left a really nice breakfast basket with some fruit, a NutriGrain Bar, apple juice, and a cup of instant oatmeal. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend the Casita to anyone visiting the area!

Very nice stay in a cute separate "little house" I didn't meet Bonnie and family. But, they were very accommodating with my early check in request. The place was quaint and I loved the matching purple towels mats and toiletries in the private bathroom. Loved the ac unit, although I didn't need it much for my stay. And, I slept like a baby. Great experience. Hope to come back soon.

Sam and I take care of the airbnb. He enjoys things like paintball, go karts, video games, movies, and archery. I like to ride rollercoasters, read, dance, and sing.
I've been to Australia, Alaska, Hawaii, Grand Cayman, and a Mexican cruise. Sam is the one who took me to Hawaii and Grand Cayman. He learned to speak Spanish in Texas, and uses it almost daily in his career.
Our style of hosting is pretty hands off. The Casita is detached, and we have 6 young kids, ranging from 10 to 1. We're there to help as needed, but believe you're staying with us for your own purposes and would want to be left alone, not play with our kids. ☺
