Me and my boyfriend stayed in letia for two weeks and really liked the flat as well as the surrounding. It is really peaceful up in letia. The flat was beautifully decorated and I loved the old flair. Letia is up in the mountains and you can find nice hiking trails and paths to lovely bassains. However, it is absolutely necessary to have a car and it takes about half an hour to get to the beach.

It was a wonderful stay at maison Lilou! The apartment just opposite of many other apartments that we have seen at Airbnb. It was a tasteful and very individual apartment with a very beautiful collection of historic furniture. We liked the nice coloured walls, in short words: it was very authentic. If you want to stay in a real Corse house - you should choose this apartment. We had some problems with our car at the arrival (to be exactly: a pipe from the cooling system) but Françoise organised a spare part and save us from being being picked up the long way to Corte - thank you very much again Francoise! We had been there with two little children and they like it very much. You can hike to some small rivers nearby, where you can take a bath. The next shop is in the neighbour village down the hill, if you want to swim in the sea you have to go to Sagone, it takes about 25 minutes. But the landscape there is much better for hiking. Finally: we recommend this apartment and on our next trip to Corse we will be back at Maison Lilou!

Triple A for location and communication. Laurie and her friend F. were very kind and comforting. Beside dog barking in the very early morning it was a beautiful stay in the house in a stunning tiny mountain village. Thanks!

A Rural Idyll If you are dreaming of a bucolic, remote retreat, that’s the place for you! The old stone house (from 1832) is located in a very small village on a high mountain. Living and sleeping room offer an endless view over the valley and the far mountains. The inner of the house is restored with a lot of love and care. Rooms are very handsome and fitted with rustic antiques, old wooden floors, heavy wooden beams and natural materials. There is a playful collection of old shavers and other rustic objects. There is a combined living / dining room and a well equipped kitchen with kitchen table in the first floor. The second / roof floor is one lofty space with combined sleeping and bath room with free standing bathtub. The stairs from the street to the living room in the first floor and from the first to the second floor are very steep and could be a little difficult with luggage. The village is very small. There is not bakery or green grocer. You have to go to the next, bigger village, 15 min by car. It is a place where you definitively need a car! Otherwise it is too isolated and no infrastructure. By car you can reach the next beach, Santana beach at Sagone, in around 30 minutes. To Porto de Ota it takes one hour. To Soccia, starting point to Lac de Creno, also around one hour by car. What you should also know is that the old wooden ceiling doesn’t offer any acoustic separation between the floors. The house offers one double and two single beds - acoustically they are all one room. It is a perfect and charming place for couples, lowers and close friends. Families should consider that the parents don’t have very much privacy. We were received very well by Laurie and the owner. They explained everything and gave some good hint for hiking and beaches. Thank you very much. Laurie and Francois!! We will come back!
