In the centre of this historic village but tucked down a quiet lane; public transport, Loch Fyne and lovely walks nearby - you’ll love my place because of the location, tranquility, the ambiance, and the views. It's a cosy, friendly, comfortable place to stay with good amenities. Couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers alike have use of lounge and kitchen.

Everything was fine. unfortunately was the WC very dirty and the "Hostel" very anonymous. Nevertheless many thanks

Response from Kathleen:
I am amazed that the WC was dirty as the flat is thoroughly cleaned every day. You were sharing the flat (as you only booked a room with shower) sharing the bathroom with other guests in the other room so perhaps this should be taken into account and it is not my responsibility that this area was not clean! If guests do not use the extractors in the bathroom and kitchen area then of course there will be "odours"!! I do not understand what you mean by "anonymous" - there is plenty of character and nice furnishings in the flat and the lounge, including personally chosen paintings. If you look at the other comments, guests find my flat cosy and welcoming! I do not have a hostel, I have a flat with two bedrooms, lounge and kitchen area.

Kathy has a cosy flat in the very centre of Inverarry. It is hidden and quiet in a narrow dead end road parallel with main road. As either Kathy (which is a pity) nor another guest for the second room were there we had the flat with lounge, kitchen, bathroom for ourselves. Top pl…

Inverary is a small town so while everything was on hand, it was also secluded and quiet. We had the double room which was a pretty cottage bedroom with sash windows and a very comfortable bed. There was another family staying in the room next door but all was quiet. There was a …

Instructions are given but we happened to arrive at same time as others who had worked out the system. We were glad of that.

Very nice flat on a pleasant village by the lake. The kitchen is very well equipped and organized which is a plus for someone who wishes to cook his own meals. Inveraray is a nice location if you wish to stay somewhere between Glasgow and the north.

Kathleen's home is a hidden gem (We walked the town a bit to find It, though her directions are quite accurate). The room was comfortable, we were able to do laundry, and it was nice to be able to relax in the lounge. Inveraray is a sparkling gem with lots to do and see. Take in …

Thank you so much for your lovely review. I finally made Glasgow and have spent yesterday getting my car serviced and catching up with friends! Let me know if you need any more information about the area. I have visited some deserted townships in the past in Kilmartin and district. There are some in the way to Tayvallich. Best wishes for the rest of your holiday Kathy

I live quite a busy and fulfilled life as I work as a tour guide and driver guide in Scotland in the summer months. I suppose I have the best of both worlds because I have some free time in the winter so I love to travel and discover new places then and also to catch up with my …
