Maggie's Cabin is a fully modern hand built log 3 bedroom / 2 bath home, complete with a full kitchen, well stocked with all the cook gear you could want, great siting area with awesome views, dining area, real alaskan decor, satellite tv, wifi, in the best setting you could ask for.
The 2 bedrooms are upstairs and each contain a full sized and twin sized bed, and the bedroom on the main floor has a full sized bed and private bath. Our only other rental, also listed on Airbnb, our Beach Cabin

The space
Situated right on a crystal clear lake and within walking distance is a beautiful mountain streams. Dock right out your door, lots of space, your own fire pit and propane grill and all with the most spectacular views in any direction!
This is a great place for families, and get togethers. You are treated like family while here, so enjoy playing with the boats on the lakes, take a sauna and swim with the fish, help us feed the fish, or rent a FAT BIKE.
Maggie's Cabin is what most folks dream of when thinking about having their own log vacation home in the mountains of Alaska, and probably what you are most looking for in a vacation in Alaska, also. Denali's first EV charging stations and SOLAR POWERED as is your cabin and our whole homestead with grid back up

Guest access
My homestead is currently about 50 acres, and includes the lakes, fish, organic garden, great walking, hiking and biking trails, lakeside sauna, while bordering the Jack River and situated in the most beautiful mountain valley anywhere along the road system in Alaska, never mind bordering Denali National Park. We only have two guest cabins currently, so reserving early is strongly advised.

Other things to note
.There is just one Maggie's Cabin, so check on reservations as soon as you know this is what you would like.
You will find only true Alaskan Hospitality in this peaceful quiet setting and the Alaska you dream of. We welcome you to stay and play our place while visiting Denali National Park Sincerely Kirk Martakis

Born and raised in New York, I came to Alaska in 1980 and never looked back. Never had a real job, always have lived and made my living in the wilderness in many different ways, big game hunting guide, trapper, kids counselor, raft guide, fishing guide, antler hunter, bush pilot, etc. Been written up in several national magazines, got 'Outfitter of the Year' for many years, when my life wrapped around traveling the wilderness on horseback. I do a lot of hiking, biking, skiing, backpacking and one of my current passion is to continue taking my place, home and life away from carbon emitting fossil fuels, so there are lots of solar panels, wind generators etc working on our homestead. I help others buy and install alternative energy systems through out the area. Another is our private 'world class' fishery that I developed in the last 20 + years on this homestead. I sure enjoy sharing my wonderful homestead on the edge of Denali with guests from around the world and hopefully you too!.
