Beautiful 18th Century Cottage, with gardens, and unspoilt views across miles of rolling landscape. A cherished family-owned home for decades, all amenities from washing machine, dishwasher and dryer to wifi are provided. We're 80 yards from the nearest house along a quiet rural lane, providing total tranquility, but with great, close connections to Oxford and London by road and rail. All of the glorious walks and attractions of the Cotswolds on our doorstep.
The cottage is arranged over three floors (covering a little over 2000 square feet) with four bedrooms, a living area, a dining area, a kitchen, a bathroom and a cellar. The property has two outside gardens and a patio all of which are part of the property. A barbecue is available if needed, plus additional chairs for outside seating. The field beyond is privately owned, so off-limits I'm afraid, and you must of course stick to public footpaths if you're out walking.
All rooms are accessible (though one or two of the cupboards will be locked with our personal stuff in them).
Other things to note
Please make sure that you don't obstruct the lane when you park. There is a parking space for two cars in front of the cottage. And you can also park your car beyond the big ash tree, by lane at the other side of the garden.
*It's fine to bring up to two dogs with you, but we will charge an additional £20 for cleaning after them (sorry, bad experiences in the past!), and we do expect you to let us know in advance if you're bringing any pets.
*Please don't wear shoes when you go upstairs, especially your walking boots
* Please don't let your children walk on the wall in the garden. It is an old wall and may not be safe
* Please leave the house as you've found it. Don't leave us your dishes to wash up
* Please RECYCLE. We don't have enough bins to hold the rubbish if you don't.
