Situated on the Wild Atlantic Way, The Cottage overlooks the town square and Bantry Bay. Renowned for great locally produced food, friendly pubs and restaurants, it is an ideal base for exploring the breathtaking scenery of West Cork and surrounds.

The space

The entire house, the side patio and the woodland lane (which has a walkers' right of way) is yours to enjoy. Consider it your 'Home from home'. The patio may be used for private parking if you wish, but usually we leave the car on the road outside as the house at the end of the lane where there is no passing traffic.

Guest access

All of the space mentioned above is yours to enjoy.

As I mentioned already, I may not be available to greet you on your arrival but I am usually just a phone call away and I have a friend locally who will be happy to help out if you have a problem.

Lovely hostess, very helpful and the house is very well situated, right in the centre of Bantry, which was a great town to stay in because it is central to visiting Cork and Kerry.

I am a retired teacher, an author and a therapist. I enjoy my work, having retired from full-time teaching to do other things. Between work and spending time with family and friends, including two grandchildren, life can be very busy. Sometimes it can be difficult to find time…
