This fully renovated "longere" (farmhouse) is ideal for extended families and friends wanting a tranquil stay in rural Brittany, within easy reach of popular towns and beaches. Larger parties may be possible and off season discounts are available.
A traditional longere, which has been fully renovated to provide large, spacious and peaceful accommodation in rural Brittany, La Ville es Pellerin is ideal for extended family groups (including disabled members) looking for good value accommodation. Set in a small hamlet, there are large garden areas to the front and rear with views over open countryside. The traditional stone walls ensure the property is cool in summer, and snug in winter (with a large wood burning stove in the living area and wall heaters in every room). The downstairs bedroom is suitable for disabled with ramp access from outside, and a walk-in shower as part of an en suite wet room (there is a small step up to the main living area). The fully-equipped, open plan kitchen has a cooker, fridge-freezer, microwave and dishwasher. There is also a separate back kitchen/utility room with sink, additional fridge, washing machine, dryer and extra cupboard space. The open plan dining area has a large table with seating for up to 12. Linen is provided, as are 6 adult's and 1 child's bike, portable barbecues and plenty of patio furniture. The good value rental rates reflect the fact this is our family holiday home, rather than a commercial enterprise, although all guests so far have had a great time, as the reviews we've received show. Short breaks are available, and we would always try to be flexible on arrival date. Further discounts may be available out of high season - contact us for details. We may be able to welcome larger parties, especially if they include children. Please contact us for details.
Guests have full access to the whole property and grounds, apart from one outbuilding where tools are kept.
Interaction with guests
We try to provide guests with as much information as possible prior to their stay and are always available via email/text. We are also very lucky to have great English neighbours who will welcome guests and be on hand to provide any local information or assistance needed.
As this is our family holiday home, all we ask is guests treat it with appropriate respect.
