This charming cottage is a stones throw from the centre of historic Arrowtown and sits in a delightful garden setting. It is an 1890s Grade 2 listed, lovingly restored cottage with quirky decor. Guests will enjoy the unique touches which complement the era of the cottage and at the same time, appreciate all the modern conveniences available to them.

The space
It is a charming self contained one bedroom cottage situated at the front of the property with our main family home to the rear. It has a fully equipped modern kitchen and gorgeous bathroom with a shower and claw foot bath. It is well insulated with double glazed sash windows and a heat pump to keep you cosy on colder days. It is less than 5 minutes walk from lovely cafes, bars, shops and a boutique cinema. It is also a short walk from fabulous walking and cycling trails. Cycle hire is a mere 2 minutes walk away and the owners have mountain bikes potentially available by arrangement.

Arrowtown is a lovely village which has preserved the history of its gold mining past with numerous beautiful restored cottages and a fabulous museum. The village has lovely leafy streets with many fine gardens, some excellent cafes and restaurants and several charming shops.

I am a primary school teacher and my husband is a sheep farmer. We love Arrowtown and the whole Central Otago region. I particularly enjoy tramping, running, playing hockey, collecting vintage treasures and gardening as well as watching good movies and dancing to lively music.
