On Strawberry Creek in Idyllwild's historic district, the Owl Pine Guest Cabin was built in 1922. It's the best of both worlds w/ plenty of nature (burbling creek, rock paths, trees, birds, mountain air, stars) + close to civilization (the property is near restaurants/shops). Native rock fireplace, hot tub, eclectic art, record collection/player, games, books, TV, Wifi, BBQ, fire pit hang deck. We have a chicken coop, happy to leave eggs at the cabin upon request. Located just a stone’s throw from Big Morongo Canyon Preserve, this dreamy hideaway offers a front row seat to 200+ species of migrating birds plus rabbits, squirrels and butterflies.

It has a very comfortable king bed in the main bedroom area, with its own en-suite large bathroom, with a twin single bed in the small bedroom that connects to its own bathroom. This Suite opens up to the shared courtyard with outdoor kitchen, bar and dining, and when you walk through the breezeway, you will get to the shared outdoor space with pool, spa and firepit.
