How to add your location
Before booking, guests may check how close your home is to places they plan to visit.
You get to choose whether to provide a general or precise location for your home on the map that’s shown in search results and on your listing. Either way, guests won’t receive your address until their reservation is confirmed.
How to add your location
1. Enter your street address. Start typing, and when the correct address pops up, select it.
2. Confirm your address. Make any adjustments needed for accuracy, like adding a flat or suite number.
3. Make sure the pin is in the right spot. If the pin isn’t placed correctly, drag the map until the pin points to the right location.
4. Select a map. Your listing will include a map of the general location of your place unless you choose to show the precise location.
- The general location map shows the radius around your place, within about a half mile (less than 1 kilometre) of the street address.
- The precise location map shows a pin that points towards the nearest crossroads without marking the exact spot.
Double-check your information and correct any errors before moving on to the next step. Once your first booking is confirmed, you won’t be able to make changes without contacting Airbnb Support.
