A whole island for yourself with a cute cabin for two people with the basic necessities and direct access to the Atlantic Ocean. You can catch fish, spot eagles and sea-otters, watch the endless sunset and be directly in nature undisturbed by the modern world. A small rowing boat is included. Bed sheets upon request and extra fee. We are dependent of guests to clean out properly after their stay to welcoming next guests. Please respect. Midway between the fjords and the mountains in scenic surroundings at Gjelsten in Vestnes municipality. Take your family or group of friends on a cabin trip with outdoor area, 600 metres from the sea, and with mountain hikes right outside the door. The cabin consists of 3 bedrooms with four beds. The cabin is new and modern, which is reflected in the interior. The cabin has a large terrace with a fire pit and eatery. The view is fantastic towards fjords, mountains and islands.

The cabin in the woods is suitable for those who appreciate proximity to nature. The cabin has the forest as the closest neighbor, with hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. Here you can really find peace if you want self time, or quality time with enough you love. It is about 7 minutes to walk from the parking lot to the cabin. The first part is gravel road/ski slope and the last part is trail through the woods. NOTE: The cabin has electricity, but no running water.

We are located 40 minutes from Vigra Airport and 30 minutes from Ålesund. The popular viewpoint Rampestreken at Åndalsnes is just one hour's drive, and scenic Trollstigen 1.5 hours from our location. There are plenty of local hikes in the area, and a scenic golf course just ten minutes away.

It is close to Ålesund, Molde and Geiranger in order to explore day trips.

Enjoy the wonderful view from this idyllic storehouse located on Valderøya outside Ålesund. The storehouse is over a century old, but has been renovated in several rounds. NOTE: The storage room has electricity, but not running water or a toilet. Guests can use shower and toilet in the main house which is 30 m away.
