For those who want to stay completely unique in their own house in a cultural area, with horses, cats and access to our own jetty. You have your own outside space with barbecue and cozy playground for children. You love the proximity to adorable beautiful nature and trails. You appreciate having access to your own dock and being able to take a dip in the lake. You also want to see culture. We will be happy to show the farm that has been restored according to old methods. It is close to golf course and picturesque town of Arvika with art museum and cafes.

Lakefront cottage with boat, beach and private jetty

Spacious holiday home with lake plot. Completed in 2017 with a bright and open plan with all possible amenities. There is access to a boat and a lovely swimming jetty. Lake perfect for fishing! Charcoal grill is available to borrow for barbecue evenings that you can spend on a lovely deck with lake view. The house has a larger bedroom with a double bed and a smaller bedroom with a bunk bed with a larger bed at the bottom. In the loft, there is a regular bed as well as a comfortable mattress on the floor. A/C is available for hot days.

FredrikLars-gården next to Nordmarksberg Manor: 19th century or older. In this farm the great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (b. 1747 – d. 1790) is said to have lived. On a stone in the foundation of the courtyard should be a carving with Nils name. Picture of this stone can be found in the Värmland archive's foot archive on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but has not been found in the present. It's probably hidden by mortar covered over the rocks.

The forge at Humletorp Farm

Smedjan is a beautiful, private house for two, originally the smithy of the farm. Look out across the lake when taking breakfast, whether looking through a green field at blue water, or across a white landscape to a frozen wonderland. Smedjan has enough plates, cutlery; pots and pans, for 2 people. Tea and coffee, coffee machine and kettle are also available. Charming and cozy country house, where you can live all year round. An idyllic place where you can relax, close to forest, lakes, nature reserves and fantastic chanterelle places. The house has a large porch and nice plot that extends around the house and into the Värmland forest. A short bike ride away you will find a grocery store, pizza place and gas station (about 3 km). If you want to experience the Värmland idyll and mysterious forests, you found the right place.
