Enjoy our holiday cottage on the edge of the Lake District. Many lakes, fells and beaches are easily drivable. Birkrigg common isn’t far and gives lovely views. The pub’s a 5-minute walk away and serves food most evenings There are buses to both Barrow and Ulverston and beyond at the end of the road. Ulverston is famous for its many festivals which attract lots of tourists. Barrow is only a 10-minute drive away for shops or if you want to go a little further Walney nature reserves are lovely.

The Studio is the ideal base from which to visit the attractions, see the lovely sights and enjoy the activities that the area offers. Public transport into the Lakes is limited and a car is recommended for wider exploration.

Very peaceful here no road noise lots of bird song, cosy up and enjoy the panoramic view. Very close to town centre it has own entrance with a key safe, so arrival time can be totally flexible, and there is private parking. We use a Professional cleaning service to ensure the place sparkles. Much better than a hotel room!

The Tractor House

A family run upside down house on a working farm just outside the Lake District. The Tractor House is situated in the farm yard amongst families with small children playing. Expect laughter, fun and friendly farm dogs. Lovely views from the open plan kitchen/living area, footpaths in the fields right on your doorstep to neighbouring villages and the coast.
