The "Casas do Almourão" are four Cottages, intended for Tourism in Rural Space, with capacity for 24 people. Our project is located in the village of Xisto Foz do Cobrão, municipality of Vila Velha de Rodão, district of Castelo Branco. The houses emerge with great grandeur on the slope of the Serra das Talhadas, in an idyllic environment, and allow an extraordinary view of the Ocreza River, the Almourão Valley and the Foz do Cobrão Village The house has a theme alluding to Olive Oil Production.

Sunset Vista Apartment B

Spacious apartment in peaceful surroundings, with one double bed and 1 single bed in the 1st bedroom and a double sofabed and a single bed in the lounge/ 2nd bedroom, with tv. There's a great little kitchenette/dining room with coffee machine, stunning bathroom with free standing bath, shower and bidet. A sunny balcony with access to a shared garden with BBQ and outside dining area, plus a beautiful pool with sun loungers. We are in a rural area, so your own transport is necessary to get here.

The ideal house to relax and take a break from the routine, as a couple, or to plan an adventure with friends. This is a special place where you can take a new breath and rest fully, so you can return to your routine with new energy. This project was born from an old primary school that was restored to bring more life to the village. We are in the centre of Portugal, in the middle of the mountains, surrounded by pure nature. Ideal for long stays, come and enjoy this space surrounded by forest.

Cottage for friends and families - swimming pool and nature

At the vegetable garden, enjoy a strawberry, feel the aromas, on the balcony with wide views, rest your eyes and relax. This is the ideal space to spend a few days with friends or gather the family in a rural and welcoming environment. An invigorating dip in the pool or watching the birds fuss in the backyard. Recovering a stone house, keeping the ancestral and typical details was a challenge, but one that we gladly accepted, guided by the desire to preserve history and memory. Be welcome.

Cosy Studio near River Beach

Situated in the hills, on the outskirts of a little village, you'll find Casa Hortênsia which is preferable for plant-based guests. With a beautiful view over the mountains, it is the ideal location to enjoy the many river beaches, hiking, cycling and other activities which can be arranged. Your host is a vegan pastry and professional chef and loves to spoil you if you wish to have meals prepared.

House of Schist in the center of Portugal

Three schist houses being restored at the village of Cunqueiros, in the municipality of Proença-a-Nova, form the Casas da Encosta project. Here it’s possible to relive the life history and culture of the region’s people in the comfort of a typical Portuguese village. According to the owner, Nuno Caldeira, the houses are being restored following the local construction tradition where schist, clay and wood are featured. One of them, Casa da Lagariça, has already opened.
