It is 9 miles to Madill and 13 to Ardmore, both of which have grocery stores and WalMarts although most of the restaurants are to be found in Ardmore. Stop on the way in and pick up your provisions, there is a full size fridge/freezer.

If you're not an angler, it's also great home base for other activities. Just 4-5 minutes from Highport Marina, a convenient place to meet your guide or launch your own boat. Choctaw Casino with big- name concerts. Hagerman Wildlife Refuge close by with great hiking. Antiques shopping in nearby Denison. Great close-by restaurants.

It sleeps four people comfortably with an “rv queen” bed and two "rv twin" sized bunk beds.
