Unplug in this peaceful little getaway. Nestled in the backyard of our little hobby farm near the Wood River, you will be able to visit our alpacas, goat, or honey bees. Sit and relax on the porch, or stroll through the pasture or neighborhood. In many ways, the cottage resembles a tiny house with a small bathroom & shower, kitchen sink, microwave, induction hot plate, coffee maker, plates, glasses & utensils. Many of the restaurants & shopping amenities are located on the north end of Kearney.

Welcome to…The River. If you’re looking for solitude, masses of birds and a cool dip in a river, then this Loup River cabin and acreage may be just the ticket. Located in farmland but not far from the village of Dannebrog, where you’ll find great pizza and fresh baked goods. There is also a fine grocery store with all the essentials. If you need a bit of retail therapy, Grand Island is only 20 minutes away. There you will find most everything including the Crane Trust, a crane sanctuary.

Additional space with a pull out couch or add the River Room to your reservation. Enjoy one of the restaurants nearby or bring your own food. Use the gathering space with couch, tv, fridge, kitchenette, and grill. WIFI is available but we recommend you put down the devices and enjoy your getaway.

The River House

Come explore the great outdoors when you stay at the river house and enjoy the quiet as you look over the South Loup River Valley. There is river access for all kinds of water fun from tubing, fishing, kayaking, and swimming. You can enjoy evening sunsets out on the covered front porch or setup your telescope for some amazing star gazing with no light pollution. The fiber optic connection makes it easy to use your smart devices for entertainment or setup a mobile office to work remotely.

Grain Bin Getaway

Nestled at the foot of the Loess Hills, this repurposed grain bin is a sight to see. Every inch of the inside has been customized for a relaxing and luxurious experience. Conveniently located just 30 minutes from downtown Omaha, as well as within a quick drive to numerous state parks. There is even an external electrical hook up for campers. Finally, our grain bin includes 20 acres of the Loess Hills to explore. We recommend hiking to the top of the ridge for sunset. It's breath taking.

Beautiful container home with parking in walking distance to Lincoln rail yard and its bars and restaurants, Pinnacle arena and it events including concerts, Memorial Stadium, and the bridge to the Saltdogs baseball stadium. 2 blocks from the action but in a quiet area with outdoor deck looking at the Capital building. 2 blocks in the other direction is a park and new pickle ball courts. 1 bedroom plus a full size pull out couch if needed. There is a second home on the property that is also available and listed on Airbnb. The place can and has easily fit numerous camping arrangements on the 13 acre plot. Pets are welcome, and folks should know there are three barn cats on the property.
