Close to parklands, Lake Wendouree, Lake Burrumbeet, YMCA swimming pool, art gallery, wineries and lots of great cafes and restaurants. It’s a few minutes drive to Lucas shopping centre, 10-minute drive to the CBD and 20 minutes to Sovereign Hill. For safety reasons, the gas fireplace is not available but has 3 reverse cycle aircon.

Leyden's Cottage

Period mud brick cottage originally built sometime before or around 1900 with family history stretching back five generations and the gold rush. It is set on a property of nearly 30 acres with abundant wildlife and scenery. It is located approximately 5-6 kms from the township of Avoca Victoria and it is within walking distance of a couple of local wineries and the Percydale historic area. It is isolated from any close neighbours and you do not have to share facilities with any other guests.

Small but comfy the accommodation is a self contained backyard bungalow. It has a kitchenette, separate shower ensuite and private bbq deck. Our guests value a comfy bed, a hot shower, the ability to cook their own meals and a place to relax in a private outdoor space . *The backyard is shared with our small friendly dog Toby. * 20 minutes drive to Halls Gap and the Grampians * 10 minutes to Great Western's wineries. *10 minute walk to the Stawell Gift, shops and bus/train station.

Handcrafted Shack, Halls Gap, Grampians (Gariwerd)

Wander through the trees to our handcrafted Shack, lovingly built from recycled materials, with breathtaking panoramic views over our regenerative farm to the mountains beyond. Inside snuggle by the wood heater, outside relax on a hand hewn red gum deck with built-in bath, outdoor shower. The outhouse provides views across the wetlands and its wildlife! Gariwerd walks are a 10 minute stroll away, as is good coffee, the local brewery and the eateries of Halls Gap. Come and connect!

Mount Cole Cottages - Kookaburra Cottage

Kookaburra Cottage - Two bedroom eco cottage (built 2017) situated on our 13 acres bush property. Relax on the property or use it as a base for bush walking in the nearby Mount Cole State forest or visiting the Pyrenees wineries. Abundant wildlife including wallabies, echidnas & a wide assortment of birdlife. We are 15 km from Beaufort. Cosy cast iron chiminea on the deck; firewood supplied. Sadly, the historic meditation temple (c.1995) was destroyed in the February 2024 bushfire.

101 Love Shack

Our rustic 1903 mud-brick studio is made from river sand and mud sourced from the local Great Western area. The studio was built as a fruit kitchen by the Patching family who owned and operated a number of orchards along Concongella Creek and Salt Creek. The fruit kitchen has been recently renovated into a 1-bed studio which offers history and modern comforts. The cottage is surround by farm land meaning there is an abundance of animals to watch and enjoy, including Kangaroos.

Bet Bet Creek Homestead

A large, family friendly, country home, Bet Bet Creek Homestead is a tranquil getaway set on the banks of the Bet Bet Creek. Situated between the rural towns of Maryborough and Avoca, our charming mud brick house can comfortably sleep 8 people, with its four bedrooms and two living areas. There is a large outdoor area with an outdoor fire and gas BBQ, lounge and dining table. Be sure not to miss the sensational sunset over the front paddock or a walk along the creek.

The Cottage @ Hedges

The Cottage @ Hedges is an easy 10 minute drive from the centre of Ballarat. The cottage sits within a pretty country garden about 20 metres from my home on a small rural property. Close to parklands, Lake Wendouree, art galleries, wineries and lots of great cafes and restaurants. The Ballarat-Skipton Railtrail is just 300 metres away - perfect for quiet country walks and cyclists. It is comfortable inside and out with plenty of shady spots to sit in the garden.

Ruby is a clean, comfortable tiny house. A little oasis in a beautiful garden. Great for a cosy winter escape on your own or with your favorite person. Located only 10 mins walk from the city centre and all that Ballarat has to offer. Walking distance to all the pubs and restaurants that are in the centre. Our very unique and slightly quirky accommodation is based in a beautiful private country setting in Great Western, a short 45- minute drive from the foothills of the Grampians. Originally a shipping container, it has been repurposed with a range of up-cycled and preloved items curated with care. It is set in a quiet little pocket surrounded by native bushland with an abundance of native fauna.
