An escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life awaits you in our idyllic tupa-sauna on the shore of Muonionjoki. This is my own design, self built. The cozy and traditional log cabin offers a unique vacation in the lap of nature. There is no disturbing city lights or sounds. Enjoy complete silence Enjoy the gentle steams in the wooden sauna and a refreshing swim directly in the river. You can see the northern lights right from the terrace or in bed. In the fall even swim as they flare.

Cozy Arctic Lakeside Cottage with private sauna

Welcome to our cozy lakeside cottage with private sauna on the Arctic Circle, a warm retreat where Nordic simplicity meets soulful comfort. Set on 2.7 ha of private land with direct access to Lake Miekojärvi, it’s the perfect place to slow down, reconnect, and feel again. We are Joakim from Sweden and Jenny from Germany. We fell in love with the stillness and beauty of Arctic Finland, and we’re excited to share our cottage, and a little piece of that magic, with guests from around the world.

Villa Äkäsjoensuu

Atmospheric log cabin on the shore of Äkäsjoki. From the windows of the cottage, you can follow the flowing river, which is less than 20 meters away. You can go swimming after the sauna without worrying about the neighbors. This cottage accommodates 7 people at its best, but works best with less than six people. Downstairs you will find a hallway, a kitchen with a great fireplace, a sauna, a shower room, a toilet and a bedroom. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, both with views of nature.

Small cottage "Lohi" for three on the banks of the Muonionjoki river

Welcome to a quiet river landscape in a small cottage village along the Väylänvarren salmon river. The center of Kolari is 12 km away. The nearest shop is 10 km away on the Swedish side of the fairway. On the beach, there are two lean-tos with fireplaces for the use of the cottage dwellers. Fishing opportunities. We also rent boats and motors. Bring your own linens or sleeping bag. If you need linens, you can get them from us for a small extra fee of 5 e/person.

Welcome to the unique Villa Varvikko. Our new solid wood villas are located just a few hundred meters from the Ylläs ski resort. The large living room windows offer breathtaking Lapland mountain views and the twinkling lights of Ylläs slopes. The nearby wide ski trails guarantees excellent experiences. Shopping centre (Jounin Kauppa) just 2.5 kilometers away offers a wide range of services. The perfect place to escape everyday life and create unforgettable moments!

Blue Moment + car rental, forest, beach, Auroras

Little Scandic paradise with forest magic and lake view with it's sporty activities, all year round. Already entering the yard gives you a welcoming view in 180 degrees. Natural yard, old trees and sandy beach connects you to nature and you can finger velvety moss and brushwood, also pick the berries just around the house! After the days' activities, bathe in genuine woodburning sauna with soft steam, dip into hot pool or lake under the arctic sky, in all seasons.

Floor Äijän plakkari Pajala C

Cozy furnished floor(2 rooms) on level 2 of villa in quiet area in central Pajala. "Äijän plakkari" is meänkieli for grandfather's pocket. A reservation of the accommodation always means private access to the entire upper floor, never shared with other groups. This floor features uniquely and "quirkyly" decorated "Blue Santa's Room" and "The Forest." Restaurants, grocery stores, etc. are only a 5-minute walk from the accommodation.

Discover a rare hideaway for two where life naturally slows down and nature unfolds in every direction. This modern Nordic cabin offers complete privacy, with a natural stream just steps away, a nearby lake, and fell landscapes beyond. Hike from the door, paddle calm waters, explore snowy forests with snowshoes — or simply embrace the stillness. Restaurants and local services are within a scenic 25–35 km drive.
