Villa Äkäsjoensuu

Atmospheric log cabin on the shore of Äkäsjoki. From the windows of the cottage, you can follow the flowing river, which is less than 20 meters away. You can go swimming after the sauna without worrying about the neighbors. This cottage accommodates 7 people at its best, but works best with less than six people. Downstairs you will find a hallway, a kitchen with a great fireplace, a sauna, a shower room, a toilet and a bedroom. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, both with views of nature.

Welcome to stay in a peaceful river view in a small cottage village along the fairway salmon road. Kolari city center is 12 km away. The nearest shop can be found 10 km from the Swedish side of the fairway. There are two lean-tos with fireplaces on the beach. Fishing opportunity. We also rent boats and motors. Bring your own linens or sleeping bag. If you need linens, you can get them from us for an additional fee of €10/person.

Cozy furnished floor(2 rooms) on level 2 of villa in quiet area in central Pajala. "Äijän plakkari" is meänkieli for grandfather's pocket. A reservation of the accommodation always means private access to the entire upper floor, never shared with other groups. This floor features uniquely and "quirkyly" decorated "Blue Santa's Room" and "The Forest." Restaurants, grocery stores, etc. are only a 5-minute walk from the accommodation.
