First time in Avellanas, can’t wait to come back. The restaurants nearby were so good. La Esquina had a bunch of food choices and great outdoor playground for the kids (5 & 7) to play and meet friends. Soul Shine was soooo good. Lola’s was picturesque, great farewell meal. The beaches were incredible, our favorite was definitely nearest to the property, we explored north to Tamarindo. The layout of the property worked so well for our family, you can see the love and care Joelle and Simon pour into this place. Was very hard to leave. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Joelle & Simon!

I came to visit Joëlle & Simon’s place once again with my 15-year-old daughter, the place where I first fell in love back in 2022.
Yet another exciting stay, surrounded by beautiful nature and filled with our hosts’ amazing hospitality.

Back in 2022, I got around using public transport, taxis, and Uber. But now I’ve realized just how much freedom it gives to have a car right at your doorstep. I highly recommend hiring one — it makes exploring the area so much easier and opens up so many more possibilities.
The property is extremely well maintained and spotlessly clean.
Joëlle is like a little fairy, always making sure everything is at its best — her care and attention to detail shine through in every corner.

Both Joëlle and Simon are truly incredible people and outstanding hosts. Their warmth, kindness, and generosity make this place feel so welcoming and special.

It truly feels like home. An absolutely amazing place.

Incredible 4-day stay!! We loved it here. A quiet, peaceful and relaxing haven. Everything is carefully chosen with taste. The hosts were warm, caring and welcoming. We felt immediately at home, even though we were sad to continue our journey 🙂🙃

The nearby beach is an asset and it is simply beautiful. A few small shops (café, restaurants) are within walking distance. There are few, but that's what makes the place attractive.

I highly recommend it!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Vida Verde. The property is beautiful with thoughtful touches everywhere. The setting is peaceful and more spacious and picturesque than the picture show- you really feel a sense of tranquility when you step onto the property. Joelle and Simon are the perfect hosts personable and incredibly helpful. We felt very welcomed and at home, and they also gave us lots of space so we felt a sense of privacy. Everything was spotless, from the rancho to the cabins to the grounds themselves. We loved the nearby beaches. They were gorgeous and quiet. I highly recommend Joelle and Simon’s amazing place!!
