Two of us stayed at Amanda’s for a wedding we attended at Castle Leslie and it was the perfect location. A short walk to the estate grounds with a coffee and chocolate shop and a pub on the way. The house itself was lovely – plenty of space for us, everything we needed, and clean and tidy. We slept with the windows open because it was warm and the village was so quiet we weren’t disturbed. Definitely recommend it for a getaway to the village and castle!

Amanda Maria’s Airbnb accommodation in Glaslough, Ireland is very comfortable and clean. The village is very quiet, litter free, and charming. Amanda is very responsive with her Airbnb emails before and during our stay. Amanda left us more than enough paper supplies for the week and some beverages in the refrigerator and tea, coffee, etc in the cupboards. We were in town for a wedding and the walk to Castle Leslie was about 7 or 8 minutes. We also visited the Pocono Café (four doors away) a number of times for breakfast, lunch, dinner, ice cream, and gift shopping. There are a few pubs nearby and we had a pizza dinner twice at the nearby Ambledown Cottage Restaurant. We also shopped at the local chocolate shop twice. This shop makes its own chocolate in town using no preservatives. There also are some very attractive biodiversity trails which you can enter across the street from the Pocono Café ( near the Recreation Center) and past the chocolate shop, down the hill on left.

This is a lovely little house, squeaky clean, well equipped and with lots of thoughtful little touches throughout. Recommended, thanks Amanda!
