Small mountain cabin in the heart of Telemark. Detox?

The cabin is located 700 meters above sea level in Øyfjell in Vinje. Forest and wildlife. You live close to nature. 150 meters to walk to the cabin from parking. Remember to bring good shoes, you walk in terrain, snow from Nov to May. It is simple and no luxury, no running water. The cabin is suitable for 2 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. There are ski slopes and fatbike trails by the cabin. The cabin only has a wood-burning stove for heating. There is a small oven and small hob for cooking. No refrigerator. Only outhouse/ecological toilet (15 meters from the cabin).

The house is in good condition, suitable for family or friends on a trip! Also suitable for rent at sporting events due to many beds and central location. The Joker store is just across the road. Within walking distance you will also find a pizzeria and pub, roadside inn, hairdresser and Circle K. Nice swimming and hiking opportunities in the summer and great ski slopes in the winter. There is also a children's ski slope with a lift right next to it. Høydalsmo is very centrally located in western Telemark! With Dalen, Åmot, Rauland and Seljord in close proximity.

Family cottage on top with amazing views

We want to share our amazing cabin in the mountains with you. The cabin is one of the highest located in the cabin area and has a very nice view of Nisservann. On the horizon, the high mountains reign. There are no other cabins on the backside. Here the hiking terrain is available right outside the door in summer and winter. Prepared ski slope is located 20 meters from the plot. You have a nice view of Hægefjell which is a popular hiking destination all year round. Vrådal alpine resort with 18 slopes is located only 500 meters from the cabin.

Log house/cabin

With us, you can find tranquility in the countryside. Here, you can travel back in time in a log cabin built in 1940. The house has been recently renovated and furnished with both new and old interior items. Historical surroundings. If you are lucky you can see wild animals right by the cabin. Nice hiking trails nearby. Tveitgrendløypa (2 min from the cabin) is popular in summer, and has spectacular views of mountains and fjords. Kviteseid is a cozy little town centre with shops and cafes. Swimming opportunities in the fjords during summer.

Included: Bed linen, towels, electricity and dishes. Small cottage located on a farm with stunning views of the Totak lake and the mountains. We live in one of the houses on the farm. Another house has two apartments that are rented out on AIRBNB.("Rofshus" and "Rofshus 2") In summer, there is access to tables, chairs and barbecue outdoors. Rauland has 140 km of groomed ski slopes, 5 min away by car. 10 min to ski resorts. 5 min by car to Rauland city center with shops and electric car chargers. Great hiking terrain summer/autumn.

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Homey with everything you need for a pleasant visit to Rjukan. Walk 1 min to shops, pharmacy, liquor store, restaurants. Bakery a few meters away from the doorstep. Rjukanbadet 10 minutes walking distance. Leave the car in the free parking right outside the door. Free Mountain Bus takes you to Gausta/Gaustatoppen only 20 minutes away. The apartment is located in the middle of the city center but still withdrawn from the main street.

Bed for four (extra mattress if needed). Skiing and hiking areas nearby. Here you will find clean and made beds and clean towels - ready to start the holiday the moment you arrive.

Newer cabin with great views and nice hiking opportunities

Viking age hut listed in 2017 in Øygarden hut area. It is a small cabin area with good distance between the cabins and you have great hiking opportunities just outside the door. The cabin has 3 bedrooms. There is room for 7, but it is best suited for couples or families with children. There is a personal touch to the cabin as it is often used by us as well, so there will be basic goods in kitchen cabinets and there may be goods in refrigerators with durability. Use whatever you need during your stay.

Come and stay in our restored stone hut! Here, the walls are completely black from the time when both rock drills for the mine, nails and horseshoes were forged in here. With us, you can wake up to a view of the young horses or take a stroll up through our forest. Maybe you'll stumble upon the old copper mine up in the woods?
