Fra parkeringen er det ca 600 meter å gå, ta på gode sko da stien går gjennom skog og litt myr. På vinteren må en gå på ski eller truger da det ikke er brøytet vei.

Om vinteren er bare deler av skogsveien brøytet, da er det en 2,5 km skitur opp til hytta. Skuterfrakt av varer kan avtales.
