In the outdoor area, there is plenty of space for skiing and tobogganing. Popular nearby attractions include Nesfjellet Alpine Centre, golf, Nystølkroken Café, Langedrag Nature Park, and an extensive network of cross-country skiing trails. Everything is within a few kilometres by car.

The cabin is a perfect starting point for trips both inwards and outwards of the fjord if you want to experience more of the beautiful surrounding area. A real gem for those who want to find peace in idyllic western Norwegian nature.

Lower your heart rate at the top of Stolpehytta! Stolpehytta is located 5 minutes away from Blaafarveværket in Modum municipality, right next to the climbing park Høyt & Lavt Modum. Here you can find tranquility among the treetops. The large windows provide a panoramic view over the landscape and the night sky. Built in solid wood, with an area of 27 m2, it gives just enough space for what you need for a relaxing trip away from everyday life. If you want activity, you can rent e-bikes, stroll down to the climbing park or explore the local area.

In winter, a ski slope is made in and past the cabin – parking is then 1 km from the cabin.

Welcome to Sauefjøset Here you will have: - Amazing views from your own patio - Historical feeling in a renovated sheepfold - Perfect starting point for outdoor activities - Free parking - Wi-Fi Sauefjøset is idyllically located on a courtyard on the sunny side of Skjåk. There are five buildings on the farm that are from the 1800s. Sauefjøset was renovated in 2023 for rental. There are two double beds (150 cm) - one downstairs and one upstairs on the loft. Simple cabin located 1100 meters above sea level in Valdres. It's at the top of the Kjølastølen hamlet and is perfect for one or two people who want a place to base for mountain activities. One room with sofa bed, table, kitchen counter with cooker. Heating with propane heater. The cabin has a sink with no running water, but it works for morning care etc with drains out of the cabin. There is no toilet, but guests can use the latrine 30m from the cabin. Toll Road (70 NOK) with private parking
