This is one of the few remaining pure Japanese-style shoin-zukuri buildings in Hiroshima City, built 75 years ago, shortly after the war.Just a stone's throw from the main street, in a quiet setting, this small but charming property features a Japanese-style garden where you can relax and unwind. Some of the items on display at the Dance House, such as a vase partially melted by the heat from the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima on 6 August 1945 and photographs from around 100 years ago, are only kept there. The fittings and glass date back over 70 years to that era, and the two gardens, the hearth, and the study, in particular, capture the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese home. At present, these items can only be obtained by placing an order with a select group of craftspeople. Of the five rooms, three are tatami-mat rooms; please sleep on the tatami mats with your futon on top at bedtime. Located in Minami-ku, Hiroshima City, and accessible by a single tram ride within the city. From the nearest tram stop ①, it takes about 20 minutes to get to Hiroshima Station. From the nearest tram stop (②), you can reach the Peace Memorial Park and the Atomic Bomb Dome, as well as the city centre, in around 20–30 minutes. The taxi journey takes around 10 minutes. You'll find everything you need for daily living right in the neighbourhood at the large Youme Town Hiroshima shopping centre. Convenience stores (7-Eleven, FamilyMart), eateries (okonomiyaki, ramen, sushi, yakiniku, waffles, bakery, etc.), and more are all within walking distance.

This is a wooden house built around 1954 (Showa 29). This building has been lovingly used, preserving the atmosphere of that time. As the property has hardly been renovated, there may be some minor inconveniences, but we hope you will enjoy creating memories in Hiroshima while imagining life as it was at that time. The entire building will be rented out. On the ground floor, there is a kitchen, a bathroom and a toilet.The other rooms are the landlord's storage spaces. The bedrooms for guests are on the second floor. Guests can use the kitchen, so they can also cook items purchased from nearby supermarkets, etc. It's a very convenient location, about a 10-minute walk to the Peace Park, and there are convenience stores, supermarkets, and more nearby.
