This converted private home is located on a hill on Ikuchigashima Island, at the halfway point of the 'Shimanami Kaido'.From the window, you can enjoy a view of the calm Seto Inland Sea.This is a family home with a carefully curated interior, featuring Fritz Hansen chairs and a coffee table, Carl Hansen & Søn dining table and chairs, lighting by Isamu Noguchi, a Simmons mattress, and more.There's also a large bathtub, which is perfect for unwinding after a day of cycling. We have obtained a hotel business license and operate with peace of mind and safety.The building has a spacious layout, with a floor area of 72 square metres and a site area of 300 square metres. This is a quiet area away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and as there are no shops or convenience stores nearby, we recommend that you bring anything you need with you in advance (there is an okonomiyaki restaurant called 'Bikkurudo' a 13-minute walk away). If you're lucky, you might spot Japan's national bird, the pheasant.

Setouchi Sea, Yumeshima Kaido, Guest House Michishio (Twin Room Private)

This guest house is located in Yumigahara, Kamijima-cho, Yumigahara, on the border between Ehime Prefecture and Hiroshima Prefecture. This reservation is for a "Private Twin Room" only. In addition to the bedroom, you can freely use the living room, kitchen, two toilets, bathroom, and bicycle garage. You can bring your bike into the room on the first floor. The room on the 2nd floor has a view of the strait to Inoshima. We rent electric assist bicycles for 1,000 yen per bike per day. If you wish, we can arrange a walk with my goats.

Shiomi House Island Village Hostel (Oku Room)

Sashima is a tiny island with only about 400 residents. Even within the Shimanami Kaido area, life moves at an especially unhurried island pace. Our house is a classic farmhouse plan in this area, rooms are separated by fusuma (papered sliding screens). You’ll stay in the Oku room with a tokonoma (alcove). Linger on the engawa (veranda) and watch the garden, take a stroll along the shore. The sunsets are spectacular. Enjoy a taste of island life in a nostalgic traditional Japanese house.

This is a guesthouse located in Yugeshima, Kamishima, on the Seto Inland Sea, on the border of Ehime and Hiroshima prefectures. Reservations here are for "renting the entire building" only. It has 3 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 5 people. You can freely use the living room, kitchen, two toilets, bathroom, and bicycle garage. From the rooms on the second floor, you can see the strait with Innoshima. The guesthouse has two bicycles available for rent for 1,000 yen per day.

Guest house tokonoma/A cozy classic Japanese house

Yuge-island is only a few hundred meters away from Innoshima-island, which Shimanami-Kaido passes. You will feel a very relaxed atmosphere from the moment when you step on this island. Guest house tokonoma is a small accommodation which is a renovated old Japanese style house. We have 3 Japanese style bed rooms, kitchen, and living room. You will sleep in Futon-mattress which has laid on brand new Tatami. 5minutes walk from super markets and restaurants.
