Outdoor hot tub, filled with spring water! This unique and peaceful retreat makes it easy to relax. You can get to the yard by car, from the airport by car about 50 minutes. The cottage and sauna (accessed from the terrace) have been renovated. The sauna has an eco-toilet. In summer, only the outdoor eco-toilet is in use (the hot tub is also available in summer for an additional fee). In addition, the cottage creates a fireplace and great views of the lake. There's also no light pollution here, so you can spot the aurora borealis while lounging in bed.

Villa Vilikkilä

Our cottage is located in a unique, peaceful location by the lake. Close to the wilderness of Lapland. It’s still easily accessible by car, though. In the warmth of our cabin, it’s easy to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature through the large windows with their ever-changing scenery. Enjoy the silence. Admire the Northern Lights. You can go skiing and snowshoeing directly from the yard. In the summer, you can fish, row, or paddleboard on the lake or take a dip from your own dock. You also have a grill hut sauna at your disposal.

Nice apartment and meeting with happy reindeer

The apartment is renovated in the year 2017 and it is a part of the bigger building. It is located 400 meters from our home ( and the lake), 18 km from Inari (nearest grocery and restaurants) and 350 km from Rovaniemi. In the apartment you will find all normal facilities and sauna. This is a good place to see Northern Lights and beautiful nature is around you here. If you are interested to see how people really live in Lappland, but you also appreciate your own peace, this place is for you.

Cosy log cabin in Ivalojoki river with all amenities needed for a comfortable and adventurous stay: please read the full description before booking! The cabin lies on an island, the last part needs to be walked over the ice (safe from mid-December till April) or rowed with our small rowing boat (included). A cabin for those who want to cocoon surrounded by nature, gaze at northern lights undisturbedly, discover untouched snowy forests on snowshoes (included) and sleep in absolute silence.

Arctic Light Hut

It is easy to relax in this unique and peaceful holiday destination. Wooden-framed, partially glass-roofed northern lights hut, built in 2019. Perfect for observing the northern lights and the starry sky indoors in winter. Glass roof on the north side. In summer, the hut is illuminated by the summer night sun. The hut has two beds under a glass roof, a kitchen area, a washroom/toilet and a wind closet. The glass roof has heating, which keeps it bright despite the weather.

Saariselkä Kiilopää Rova - a wonderful holiday villa

NEW FOR 2026: A stunning fireplace has been installed in the living room of the villa. A modern, fully equipped villa next to the Kiilopää fell, less than a 10-minute walk from Urho Kekkonen National Park. Very quiet location. Equipment rental and a´la carte restaurant can be found within walking distance. Saariselkä's ski slopes and other services can be found within a 20-minute drive. The villa is suitable for a couple, family or group of friends.

Lake Ukko and it's old trees and rocky shores are one of the most traditional landscapes in Lapland according to Sami museum Siida. This is the best spot to watch aurora borealis over open sky on your own private dock. We have decorated the room called Fisu with Finnish design. Fishing, snow mobile rides, private aurora hunting trips with sleigh pulled by snow mobile, snow shoes and dinners are also possible. Ask from your host!
