Cottage with astonishing view in tranquil surroundings. Short distance to the fjord and a rowboat is available during the summer months. The cabin has a mini kitchen, fridge, small oven and microwave. No dishwasher. Bathroom with shower and toilet, heating in the floor. Living room with lounge group, dining table and a cozy fireplace. The bedrooms are very small. Covered porch with outdoor furniture. Bed linen and towels are not included. When snow, you have to park by the road and walk the last 50 meters up to the cabin. Parking at the cabin during summer.

Stylish wooden cabin surrounded by wild nature. The cabin is located 3 meters above the river that winds through the forest, with a view to the mountain peaks on the horizon. Indoor water and toilet. Light and power socket for charging phone. Done making bed. Easy access. Park in marked area, 1 km from the cabin. Mark on maps and in the location. Walk 1 km into the valley, along the gravel road. Ortnevik is on the south side of the beautiful Sognefjorden. With road access along the fjord from the west and ferry connection from Vik and Nordeide.

The cabin is situated on a farm at Helle in Sunnfjord, in a beautiful scenery at Førdefjorden. It has an amazing view to the fjord and the majestic snow top mountain with a glacier. It lies close to the fjord and a small beach. Perfect place for hiking, fishing and relaxation in a rural retreat. Nearest supermarked is in Naustdal, 12 km from the cabin, and local cafe/shop is 10 min away. Free WiFi in the cabin. Motorboat for rent (summer season). Self service farm shop with fresh eggs!

The house has a view to the forest and river, and has big windows to let in lots of light and most importantly - the nature. The outside area consists of an incredibly beautiful riverside front, with a wooden deck with a log table and benches, fire place by the river and pitoresque seats overlooking the river and forest. The closest town with shops and restaurants are about 10 kms away.

Cabin in beautiful Måren overlooking the Sognefjord

My cabin can be found in Høyanger municipality, in the small village of Måren. To get to Måren you have to take a ferry (MS Lysefjord) from Nordeide, Ortnevik or Vik. There are no shops or kiosks in Måren, so you need to plan well with regard to food and other things you would need during your stay. In other words, you have to shop everything you need before traveling over with the ferry. The cabin is fully equipped and has everything you need for a nice stay.
