The four bedroom, three bathroom property was renovated between '17 and '21 with an eye towards preserving and restoring the original architectural details including furniture and art. The property is 4,000 SF. Town and Country (1949) wrote: “Elmhyrst is a flawless example of the chaste Greek revival, rare in Newport, and considered one of the best houses of this style in the state.”
