Papenwohld is the home of the Papenwohld Artist Residency - a non-profit art project founded and run by the hosts. Everything from music festivals, yoga and horse workshops to concerts and art exhibitions have been celebrated here.

Approx. 60 m² apartment on the 2nd floor (sloping ceilings are to be expected) to relax in the middle of Alt Duvenstedt in the Hüttener Berge Nature Park near the A7. The entire building where the apartment is located consists of two houses with three residential units connected by a former blacksmith. The apartment is in the older part of the building and has its own apartment entrance door. After many excursions on foot, by bike or car (or whatever), it is the ideal retreat.

The apartment is on the second floor (stairs), in a quiet village location, just a 10-minute drive from Rendsburg and the Kiel Canal. In Fockbek you will find restaurants, banks, discounters, doctors, pharmacies, gas stations. For vacation, temporary living space, rent - bridging, seminars in small groups (6 people)… Cyclists are welcome. The outdoor area in the garden can be used by arrangement. Here you will find peace and quiet to enjoy, direct access to the harbour for a quick dip in the water or a few hundred metres further on access to the bathing area with a great playground for young and old.

Our apartment is located in a quite residential area. Parking in front of the house is available. The Baltic Sea is about 25 km away and the North Sea is about 50 km away. The Kiel Canal is about a 10-minute walk and every year the much-loved NordArt art exhibition can be admired in Büdelsdorf.
