Cuthbert House - traditional farm workers cottage for 4

The space Cuthbert House is part of the historic Brinkburn Estate in Northumberland. It is a traditional Northumbrian terraced property, customary in style but boasts a modern and cosy interior. It is ideally situated in the heart of Northumberland with easy access to the coast and Castles, Cheviot Hills, Northumberland National Park, and Hadrian's Wall. All our guests also have access to 30 acres of woodland plus the river and fields. Brinkburn Priory and Manor House are also just on your doorstep. The main porched entrance of Cuthbert House leads into the open plan ground floor. The kithchen is stylish and contemporary, comprehensively equipped with all the usual appliances; electric oven and ceramic hob, fridge freezer and dishwasher. There is a dining table which seats 4 within the spacious yet incredibly cosy lounge, with comfortable sofas and a magnificent wood burning stove (initial supply of wood and kindling provided, extras can be purchased on-site). There’s a smart TV, books and games. Upstairs, there are two beautifully spacious rooms with super king-size beds which can be made up as twin beds and ensuite bathrooms. Both rooms are south- facing and from the window is a view overlooking the garden across open fields towards the woodland areas. Book two adjoining cottages to accommodate larger groups on holiday Blakey House and Cuthbert House have interconnecting fire doors and can be booked simultaneously for larger groups of up to 8, perfect for those family get togethers. When the properties are booked independently, these doors are kept locked by the owners. Guest access There is ample free parking on site, and an idyllic outdoor seating area and private garden. There are also lots of beautiful walks nearby if you’d like to explore on foot. If you decide to be more adventurous our team of local experts can help you with your itinerary. Arrival Treats A welcome hamper is included in all properties, should you wish to treat someone special (or yourself) and upgrade to one of our luxury hampers please do ask for further details and pricing upon booking. Interaction with guests We live on site and we are happy to help with any aspect of your stay with us. There is also an office which is usually staffed Monday to Friday from 9am – 5pm. Should you have any problems outside of these times, there is always someone available to help.

Studio @ The Gubeon

A self contained, compact studio apartment located within my home, with a private secure entrance. We are 3 miles from Morpeth town centre and easily reached from the main A1 and A696. It is a double bedroom with en-suite shower and toilet. The apartment has its own kitchen with facilities/utensils for self catering (hob & microwave oven). There is a sofa and dining area with digital smart tv. There is tea and coffee provided along with fresh milk, butter,breakfast cereals and sliced bread.

Swinburne Castle

Swinburne Castle is perfectly situated within its own beautiful parkland and gardens. Traditionally decorated, parts of the house have tremendous history dating back to the 12th century. The east wing is extremely comfortable and private, and don't be perturbed by the stone steps leading down to the vaulted cellar. A delicious continental breakfast will be provided in your rooms. There is ample parking and a tennis court you are welcome to use. lovely footpaths from the house for keen walkers.

This old railway house is situated at the Ulgham Grange Railway crossing within the beautiful Northumberland country side with access to lovely walks straight out the door. We have the pleasure of seeing classic steam engines such as the Royal Scot travelling passed from the comfort of the upstairs bedrooms. Very clean beaches of Cresswell and Druridge bay are easily accessible by car and bicycle.
