The "Bunkhouse" at Journeys End

The "Bunkhouse" is a modern, 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath home, located on a 70 acre working cattle ranch. This beautiful rural setting welcomes you to a spacious rustic getaway; five miles from the "hustle and bustle" of Jacksonville, Texas. With slate floors, walk-in tiled showers and a modern kitchen with granite countertops, the “Bunkhouse” offers “up- town” convenience in a relaxing get away! A large covered patio area provides outdoor space for dining and activities. Carport accommodates 3-4 cars.

Lake House Cottage

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway! Enjoy swimming off the back deck, the ambiance of sitting on the many decks enjoying the beauty of the lake or just relaxing to watch the sunset. If the weather is cooler you may want to enjoy sitting around the gas firepit on the deck or the wood burning fireplace in the Sunroom! The one bedroom has a queen size bed and in the den a pull out sofa bed for two. Less than 10 minutes to downtown for all you shopping and great restaurants too!

The “Beach” House backs to 17 acres of secluded forest. Walking trails, creek, yard games, and above ground pool. Friendly chickens and small pups on property. Near the Neches Wildlife Refuge and River Run. Groomed acre of wide open dog/child/adult play and event space. 3 tiny homes on property each with separate patio, deck, fire pit, outdoor grill/dining space. Minimum of 2 parking spots per house with lots of room for adjustments for trailers/trucks/atv’s. Can always book both tiny Houses!

Dogwood Cabin on Scenic Wooded Mossbridge Farm

Our two cabins Dogwood and Holly are located on a quiet, wooded 10 acre retreat that is 8 miles from Athens. Our special feature is a spring fed creek that flows year round and has it's own micro climate that is perfect for native ferns, mixed hardwood forest and dogwoods. We have provided a nature trail for bird watching and exercise. Recently we designed and constructed a beautiful pond with three waterfalls and a deck overhanging the water with chairs for enjoying our private paradise.

After a fun day at Lake Palestine, River Run Mud Park, or Pine Dunes Golf course, kick back, relax and watch the large smart TV. You can cook out on the patio. Kick back and relax in this calm, family friendly space whether it’s for fun or work. You will discover a new experience…fresh air, a beautiful hardwood forest, a small private lake, so quiet and peaceful with wildlife surrounding you, and of course, cardinals! You will be inside a gated community with private parking, a campfire area and a canoe. You may fish in the lake in front of the guest house, but it is strictly “catch and release”. Hidden Gem Cottages: Sapphire Cottage

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The house has a king bed in the master with attached bath, a secondary bedroom with 2 queens, an additional hall bath and queen sleeper sofa in the living room. It sits on a stocked pond with a fishing pier. You will have access to fish and relax at our catch and release pond. The outdoor space also includes a patio with gas grill, large front porch overlooking the pond, covered back porch overlooking woods and a fire pit.

Twin Oaks Ranch

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Fishing is permitted in the ponds. The ponds are stocked with a dock. Enjoy a walk through the forest trails. Clean and newly renovated guest house. A fully equipped kitchen is provided with all the necessary utensils. The bedroom has a king-size bed. Two couches can be pulled out to create two additional beds. We welcome dogs. There is a fenced yard for dogs and a doggy door. 15 minutes to town. There is no fire pit or grill.

Lovely Guest House

Our Guest House is recently remodeled and just re-listed on Airbnb. It now has a full kitchen with an oven and induction cooktop, new flooring and other new finishes. Located in the beautiful piney woods of East Texas with breathtaking view of the surrounding hills and valleys. In addition to the Guest House you will enjoy a game room/exercise room and our beautiful grounds with a hammock and children’s playscape. It's the perfect getaway for a group of friends or family.

Little House By the Lake

(SMOKE FREE PROPERTY)This is our happy place and we hope you will love it, too! Our secluded house by the lake is two bedroom (one master with a king-size and a 2nd bedroom with 4 kid bunk beds, room to sleep on the couch, too), two bath, kitchen, washer, dryer, games, gas fire pit, decks, dock, tall trees, and tranquility. Near the south end of the lake and it is shallow. Great fishing. Not too far to FIFA WC matches (2:15 to AT&T and 3:00 to NRG).
