Nishimura Residence is an old-fashioned Nara-machiya that has been standing on a piece of Nara-machi for more than 100 years. I was a “grandmother” for a long time when I was a child. In Nara Town, there is a pleasant despicable feeling that never changes. "I want to be filled with this pleasant contempt even for future generations." With that in mind, I took care of the empty Nishimura Residence. - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.

HAT Kyushu, JR Kyushu Station is a 4-minute walk. Recommended for going to Nara Park and Nara Town!

4-minute walk from Kyomitsu Station, HAT Kyomitsu, the entire house is rented. In addition to a washing machine, the house is also equipped with a gas dryer, so you can do laundry without any problems, whether you're staying for one night or a long time. This house also has a free parking lot, which is rare for large cars in this area. Family Mart and Welcia are a 3-minute walk away, making shopping convenient. You can also walk to the city and Nara Park. * Please be respectful of late night noise as it is a quiet residential neighborhood.

Wheelers Den is a cosy and quiet self contained house in a lovely rural village. Ideal as a base for experiencing authentic village life and exploring Nara, Wazuka and southern Kyoto. Amazing cycling, hiking, temples, 700 year old stone carvings, tea plantations, rice fields and mountains all close. Free rental bikes available. By train Nara is 15 minutes. Iga ninja museum and castle 35 mins. Kyoto 57 mins. Osaka 50 mins. Free parking for one car. A great place for a unique experience of Japan.

Traditional district Guesthouse

The house is in a quiet, traditional area of Nara with smooth access to the station and main sightseeing spots. You’ll have 2 guest rooms upstairs with a toilet and washbasin. The shower room is on the first floor. Each room has a lock for your privacy. There are 3 futon beds and 1 double bed. Meals are available if reserved 2 days in advance: sukiyaki dinner (6,500 JPY/person) breakfast (1000 JPY/person) I also run a cozy café nearby, closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

A newly renovated machiya town house with typical layout and a small garden, retaining the tradition of Naramachi - the old merchant town of Nara. Easy access via bus and train, supermarket, restaurants, convenience store, bakery, and a Japanese bath house just minutes away. This house belonged to a famous wood carver of "ittobori" - a traditional Nara technique of carving the wood. A projector and a record player will make your stay even more pleasant. Enjoy!

You can rent out the entire 4-bedroom guesthouse! Located in a prime location in the middle of a shopping district, it is very convenient for dining, shopping, and sightseeing such as Kofukuji Temple, where you can see wild deer. There are four bedrooms surrounding a spacious central living room. After enjoying meals and chatting together in the living room, you can sleep peacefully in one of the four bedrooms. 7-10 minute walk from JR Nara Station and Kintetsu Nara Station, free parking for one car, within walking distance of Nara Park (Unique house)

This house is a great location, about a 7-minute walk from JR Nara Station, and about a 10-minute walk from Kintetsu Nara Station and Shin-Omiya Station. There is a Lawson convenience store a 1-minute walk from the house, which is very convenient. Nara Park is about a 15-minute walk. From Nara Station, you can get to Osaka and Kyoto in about 40-50 minutes without changing trains. One car can park for free.

Our guesthouse is located in the old town called Nara-machi. There used to be many traditional wooden townhouses known as Machiya. We restored Machiya while keeping the original structure in order to provide you with a traditional Japanese experience with local atmosphere.This house is for only private use and has only one floor with Japanese style room, shower room, washroom, sink and small garden.
