Welcome to the Middle Ages! Martinsburg is one of the few never destroyed castles of the Middle Rhine Valley, where the building fabric is actually centuries old. We have carefully renovated the parlor of the gatekeeper, about 50 m2, and approached today's needs with shower and toilet. However, you have to climb 45 steps before you can settle down comfortably. In good weather you can also linger in the flower corner in the castle courtyard or explore the castle park on the Rhine.

In the heart of Val de Villé, come and discover this private 3-room cottage located in the beautiful park of Château de Thanvillé. This cottage will be perfect for a couple and 2 children, or a group of 4 people. It is conveniently located on the wine route. You will have easy access to the various Alsatian Christmas markets, the Ribeauvillé balneotherapy spa, and the La Chenaudière hostel. Europapark amusement park and Rulantica Water Park are a 50-minute drive away.

Breakfast, served in a room of the castle, is included in the price indicated. The room is located in the building of the old drawbridge, fortified in the 15th century. Romagna is a former commandery founded by the Templars around 1140, then it belonged to the Order of Malta.

But the city floors also come to their liking with the cozy cities of Hasselt, Genk, Liège, Maastricht and Aachen within a radius of 40 km. The castle is divided into several homes including this vacation home. If booked in time, the host can arrange electric rental bikes.

The west wing is a large, very bright, 2016/17 renovated apartment. It has 2 double rooms and 1 single room with comfortable box spring beds. There is also 1 bathroom with corner bath and toilet, 1 shower room and 1 separate toilet.
