Newly renovated - unique location - private bathroom and outdoor shower

Unique location by Randsfjorden and the amazing nature. Here you can recharge your batteries and take part in all the sights and activities for all ages that are nearby. You will arrive to ready-made beds, as well as towels. I'll take care of the house cleaning when you check out. But remember to wash the dishes. The cabin consists of a living room/kitchen with sofa bed (140 cm) as well as a large bedroom with a continental bed (180 cm) and a sofa bed (160 cm). There is an outhouse, as well as a shower in the form of a bath in Randsfjorden. Welcome!

To Sjusjøen cross-country skiing 8 km drive, to Hafjell/Hunderfossen Adventure Park 30 min, and Sjusjøen alpine for families only 10 min. Lillehammer city center 15 mins. Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. We offer sleigh rides and ski instruction on cross-country skiing in the winter, please contact us if you are interested.

Our country house is easy to reach by the main road between Bergen and Oslo. Only one hour drive from Oslo and from Oslo airport Gardermoen. You'll love the place in quiet surroundings and wild nature, the view, the large outdoor areas with direct access to the river. Two canoes & one boat included, ready for taking you out for fishing or just for an adventure up the river. An hour drive from the house you wil reach the nearest mountains to Oslo, Vikerfjell, a great place for hiking and biking.

The summer barn at Hovelsrud, Helgøya

The old summer barn at Hovelsrud Farm is idyllically located between Mjøsa and a rolling cornfield – a simple and unique place for those who want to get close to nature and enjoy the tranquillity of Helgøya. The house is best suited for a couple or a small family with up to two children. Inside there is a bedroom and an open-plan living room. Outside there is a kitchen counter, with a gas burner and barbecue, a small beach where you can swim, and an outdoor toilet. There is no electricity.

From our Airbnb you have a short distance to popular attractions such as Norway's longest bike path, Bjørneparken animal park, the Predator Center and many fishing opportunities both in Krøderen and in mountain lakes. You are welcome to stay privately at our home. We give you a simpler alternative. Here there is plenty of room for 2 people. Possibility for 4, but then you will have to sleep in the living room. Best suited for couples, single, or small family. The place is not suitable for wheelchair users or those who are bad at walking as it is 50 meters from the parking down to the cabin with three different stairs.
