Quinta Vila Rachel is located in the Natural Park of Vale do Tua, in the heart of the Douro Region, with an activity focused on wine tourism and the production of natural and organic wines. Our Farm offers its guests an organic pool where they can relax enjoying the unique landscapes of the Tua Valley. Casa da Oliveira (Casa das Oliveiras-G. Maps) is close to the village of Mesão-Frio (+/- 2 km), the gateway to Douro Vinhateiro. An old house, prior to 1950, was restored and maintains some of the original stone walls. It has 1 bedroom, a toilet, a living room with a sofa bed and an equipped kitchen, AC, TV, Wi-Fi and a barbecue grill outside. The views are magnificent over the region's vineyards and the Douro River. Excellent choice for a few days of rest, a week or a weekend.

Coenga Chapel

Old chapel restored as a home in one of the most emblematic estates for making Ribeiro wine. The first mentions of the Compostelana chapter property in the vicinity of Ribadavia date back to the end of the 12th century. The chapel dedicated to Santiago, along with the manor house, belonged to the Cabildo De Santiago, which personally exploited it due to its wealth in the production of the highly valued Ribeiro wine.
