Thank you for checking out my house. This is a quiet, small, single-family home in the back of Ago Bay, almost in the middle of Shima City. I think it is convenient as a base for sightseeing in Shima City, and it is close to a fishing spot, golf course, and beach. Please use it with your family or friends. Please feel free to ask us if you have any requests, such as barbecues or cooking in the house during your stay. You can also cook hot pots at the inn during the hot pot season. We have a tabletop IH earthenware pot. There is also a hot plate type pot. Matsuzaka beef sukiyaki is also recommended. Please use it if you like. Recently, in the morning, the nightingale that visits every year is singing, so please enjoy the nightingale's song. Overlooking Ago Bay from the living room, bedroom and bathroom, you can enjoy a relaxing stay away from everyday life. We also have a streaming service where you can watch YouTube, movies, etc. The garden has a deck where you can enjoy a BBQ while looking out at Ago Bay. It is a private space where you can enjoy a natural living room with an outdoor sofa. This inn is open for those who want to relax in a small group. The name of the inn, mg (milligram), is adjacent to a large inn g (gram) on the same premises, and a portion of the accommodation fee for the stay was donated to a facility for the disabled, and it was named after the idea of how many grams you can contribute with 1 yen. It was named mg because it is a small inn next to it. We look forward to welcoming you. Relax and enjoy yourself in this unique and quiet place to stay.

A guesthouse offering a relaxing stay

Check-in is from 1:00 PM Check-out is by 12:00 PM Up to 8 people can stay. Spacious living room with 2 bedrooms. The entire courtyard has high walls, making it a completely private space. BBQ is also possible in the courtyard. *BBQ equipment rental (charged 5,000 yen). Please bring your own ingredients, including yakiniku sauce. You are free to use the sauna in the courtyard. It is recommended for long-term stays as it has all the necessities of life.

Ocean View Retreat in a Quiet Fishing Village

This is a private, whole-house guesthouse located in the quiet fishing village of Nigishima, Kumano City, Mie Prefecture. On the way to Nigishima, you’ll be greeted by the deep blue ocean known as “Kumano Blue,” and the house sits overlooking the calm waters of Nigishima Bay. To reach the house, you will need to climb approximately 50 steps (about a 5-minute walk), but a beautiful view and peaceful atmosphere await you at the top.

Mikiura Guesthouse

Reservation start from 2 person / 2 nights minimum. We accept only one group at a time so you will have exclusive use of the entire property. Guesthouse is a typical old Japanese house, not like a resort Hotel or Ryokan for business. We have no meal service. Mikiura village is surrounded by the clear blue sea and natural green mountains.
