It was originally built in the 1860s as the unmarried men’s quarters and rebuilt in the 1920s retaining its original features including an open fire in the kitchen and wide verandas leading to the bedrooms. When people look for a rustic getaway, they often mean 5 star wrapped in corrugated iron. This is not that. This is truly rustic - old timber from the cattleyards line the base of the walls. The bathroom basin is from Nanna's 150 year old house. The tin lining is from the roof of our shearing shed, complete with authentic rust marks. Not suitable for small children due to stairs.
