Casa do Fasco

The word 'fasco' is part of the Castrejo dialect. These are the weeds and straw remnants that are mixed with the rye grain after the threshing. In the threshing floor of the house where the grain was threshed, the wind blew hard and carried away the fasco, leaving the grain clean and ready to store. That's why our house is called Casa do Fasco. The house consists of two double bedrooms and a single bedroom with a shared bathroom on the first floor, and on the ground floor a fully equipped living room/kitchen.

Castro Laboreiro's House

Cozy autonomous house on the 1st floor with direct entrance, in the village of Castro Laboreiro, in the National Park Large terrace of about 50 m2, exposed to the east and overlooking the plateau. Comfortable house, with spacious living room, dining room and kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Rural tranquility located 200 m from the village center, mini-market, bakery and restaurants. Excellent starting point for tours of the lands of Laboreiro, its rivers, streams, mountains and plateau.

Boletus House | Peneda-Gêres National Park

The owners of Casa Boletus are the couple Sonia and Álvaro and their children Gil and João, 10 and 8 years old, who currently reside in Brazil and therefore have established a partnership with Azevim Nature of the family Sofia, Henrique for the management of the house. We will work to establish a harmonious relationship with our guests so that they can enjoy and benefit from the experience of being in one of the most charismatic places in Portugal within the National Park of Peneda-Gerês.

Melgaço, where Portugal begins and internationally recognised as a sustainable destination, is an integral part of the PNPG, whose nature can be explored through its spectacular network of mountain trails and on the banks of the Minho and Laboreiro rivers. The sporting activities in these rivers make Melgaço the "most radical nature destination" in Portugal.

As its name suggests, the house dates from 1883 and has been completely restored and renovated to offer you every comfort.
