The chalet is a warm and comfy place to relax, cool off, hike/bike a trail or two, enjoy long-range views(elevation is 3,383 feet - Mt Mitchell is 6,683), listen to some good music, sip your favorite drink, and rejuvenate your soul. Roaring Fork Chalet has paved roads that are all well-maintained. The mountain roads are curvy, and the subdivision is steep in parts. No four-wheel drive is needed to get to the chalet except in the winter months. Dog accepted with/ prior approval (fee applies).

It has a spacious layout and an outdoor, covered porch to enjoy the seasons. Designed for two, four can be accommodated using the sofa bed. Stocked with all the amenities you'll need to enjoy your stay and maybe a few extras, including coffee from a local roaster, teas and homemade bread.
