It is in a rural setting about 4 miles outside the market town of Cockermouth but is actually located in the Lake District National Park with stunning views over the fells, Binsey, Skiddaw, Bassenthwaite Lake and Keswick. The lodge has been designed to make the most of those idyllic views and is a retreat for anyone wanting to relax, unwind and enjoy our “world Heritage” status.

Quiet, yet easily accessible by road and rail (9 miles) and within walking distance of the local pub. It is equidistant between the towns of Keswick, Cockermouth and Wigton. The nearest Wainwright (Binsey) is walkable from the front door. The house is 4/5 bedrooms, has a large family dining table, 3 lounges, each with stoves (one convertible to a bedroom).
