Welcome to the cottage. We can sleep 8-10 guests in this nature lover's paradise. All the amenities of home are right here in a quaint, peaceful setting. Matapedia is a small village with big things to offer. We have fishing and hunting, canoeing and kayaking, hiking and beautiful scenery for photographers. In the winter we have skiing and snowshoeing, snowmobiling and skating. We are right across the river from Campbellton,NB (25 min drive) and we are 20 min from Listiguj and Cross Point.

Luxury Yurt on the Matane River

Luxury secluded yurt located right on the banks of the Matane River. Electricity is installed, air conditioning and heating as well as a small bathroom. The bedroom is located on the mezzanine with 1 queen size bed and a single bed. A sofa bed is also installed. The roof is glazed as well as half of the yurt which overlooks the river. Directly on Salmon Pit No. 48 and the Appalachian International Trail. Uninsulated outdoor shower with hot water.

The cabin is located in a dense cedar forest and offers you a unique glamping experience. Capacity 2 people. The kitchenette is fully equipped and you will sleep in a comfortable queen bed with duvet. Composting toilet in the unit and access to the sanitary block to enjoy full private bathrooms as well as for the water supply. Parking a few meters from the access trail and cabin. We are located 20 minutes from Carleton-sur-Mer.
