The area under 'The Lyngen Alps' (Lyngsalpene) are popular both for winter and summer vacations. In the dark months in mid Winter you can view the 'Northern Lights' (Aurora Borealis). When the darkest Winter is changing in to longer days the skiers appears in the spectacular mountains surrounding the house. 
If you want to go skiing, you go outside, put on your skies and of you go. There is a restaurant/bar that have a seasonal opening hours. The local grocery store is 5 km away. In Winter the local husky farm can give you a sledgeride into the picturesque surroundings, or you can go horseback riding in the Summer. During the Summer you can try the good fishing opportunities in the area. Fishing in lakes, river, creeks and the fjord is very popular. You can even do this all day and night, due to the midnightsun. The international airport in Tromsø is just 70km away. The train station in Narvik is just above 2 hours drive away. There are local buses daily, except Saturdays. Finland is 1hr 45 min drive away, and Sweden is 3 hours drive away. This is a place to relax an spend time in nature. Perfect to just sit outside watching the Northern lights crossing the sky. The owners of the house live nearby, they speak English and some German. They will try to answer all of your questions as best they know how.

Here you will find tranquility and can enjoy beautiful nature in lovely surroundings. The fishing water is very close to the listing and takes 2 minutes to walk there. Barbecue room where you can make a fire and barbecue if you want. Wood-fired Sauna by the house. A great hiking terrain in the area summer and winter. Possibility to borrow ice drills and fishing equipment if desired. The northern lights are often dancing and are a lovely spectacle for those who have an interest in it. The cabin has electricity, inlaid water and a sauna. Bed linens and towels included There is a well equipped kitchen with stove, microwave, toaster and water boiler. Nearest shop (Hatteng) as well as a barbecue bar is 6 km from the cabin .
