There is a communal lounge where you can make your tea and coffee in front of a log fire. The views are beautiful out over the Bay and over to the Orkneys & Hoy. All ferry links are close by. Dunnet Head Lighthouse is up the road & Dunnet Beach as well as Dunnet Bay Distillery are just down the road. Its a great area for bird watchers, the Puffins are here between April & August.

The king bedroom is on the ground floor with views of Thurso Bay and Dunnet Head. Within the room are fitted wardrobes, charging points and tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge. A continental breakfast is served in the room. Our home is situated above Scrabster harbour, it is a 15-20 minute walk to catch the Orkney ferry. Alternatively it is a great place to stay if you're working in the area or exploring Caithness. If you're passing through on the NC500 this is ideal as a stopping point

All on one level, the property is wheelchair accessible throughout. It has stunning views across Hoy Sound and out to the open Atlantic. Parking is available right outside, but if you visit without a car, regular buses from Stromness go to all areas of Orkney.
