Extended/renovated cabin in a lovely spot in southern Norway. Must row over a small lake to get to the cabin, or walk through the forest (700 meters). Here you can swim, fish trout in the water or be lucky to see ospreys hovering over the water. There are eagles in the area. Simply a magical place on the waterfront. The sleeping areas have windows so you can look out into nature when you are in bed. Guarantee for relaxation! We are considering renting out to people of order some weekends of the year and some weeks in the summer.

I'm going to have a great stay at this place. Right next to the Lygna salmon river. Next to the main road. Snartemo train station nearby. Small private beach by the river. To Nasjonalt Villakssenter-Kvåsfossen: 5 km, 5 minutes by car. The zoo in Kristiansand is less than 1 hour and 24 minutes away - perfect for family outings. With only a 20-minute drive to Lyngdal and Sørlandsbadet, you have everything within reach. There are good fishing opportunities in the river in the area, with a valid fishing licence.

Hønsehus Nedre Snartemo Farm

You will spend the night in the immediate vicinity of Snartemobekken which is a tributary of the river Lygna where the salmon play. Nedre Snartemo is an old farm with a barn that is under restoration. On the farm there are traces of settlement from the pre-Roman Iron Age and all the way to our time. The famous Snartemo sword was found just 200 meters away - in other words, you live in the middle of history. Tenants receive directions to the cabin. It is a 10-minute walk from the parking lot to the cabin.
