Very good location to see the Northern Lights from the windows of the cabin or from the terrace, where most of the pictures in the ad are taken. Northern Lights guides usually stop outside the cabin because it is a particularly nice place for the Northern Lights. Recharge your batteries at this unique and quiet accommodation. 25 minutes drive from Tromsø, a small village called Skulsfjord you will find this cozy little house right by the sea. Great views and a quiet area where you can enjoy idyllic mountains and natural surroundings. The Northern Lights season is from September to April. If the weather is clear, it will dance in the sky directly from the living room window. Many unique destinations on foot and by boat that the host can inform about if needed and have maps available in the house.

Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

Do you want to stay in a beautiful remote place, while still connected to the city? Grøtfjord is located just a 40 min. drive from Tromsø. Close to some of the areas most amazing mountains, fjords, ski and climbing areas. a. Big appartment with 1 bedroom that holds a king size bed and one bunk bed. There is a fold out sleeping couch in the living room. All facilites, towels to firewood are included! A car is needed to get to grøtfjord. The hosts live in a different section of the house.

Cathedral Lodge

This house looks like a little cathedral, and lies only a five minutes walk from the centre of Tromsø. Large windows in the front gives a magnificent view of the city, the sea and the Mountains. The house was finished in 2019. We have choosen exclusive materials and design furniture. You’ll see that it’s made by heart. Helga, the host, lives in the house next door, and is readily available. Cozy cabin by mighty mountains overlooking the Kaldfjord. In the summer, there are great fishing opportunities nearby, many beautiful mountains to climb and a short distance to the beach. Småbakkan is also a popular place for climbers, as there are many large rocks in the area to climb on. It takes 30 minutes to drive here from the airport.
