The space
Sculpted rams flank the entrance and a pair of panthers guards the pool at this sleek La Quinta home. Its glass panels reveal panoramas of the 10,11th and 12th fairways of the, golf-course lake, mountains, and California sky, and its family-friendly layout includes a separate casita. It’s 2 miles to music-festival shows at the Empire Polo Fields venue and 10 minutes to shopping and dining at Old Town La Quinta.

Catch the action along 3 holes of one of the PGA West golf courses from a backyard with a saltwater infinity pool and hot tub, a stock of sun loungers, and shaded alfresco dining and sitting areas with a TV and fireplace. Heat up the built-in barbecue for dinner and kick off the rest of the evening over drinks at the indoor wet bar.

From the fountain in the entry courtyard to the spillway between hot tub and spa, the sound of water flows throughout this desert home.
